Simon’s insurance career commenced in 1999 as a claims technician with a local insurer. Moving to London in 2002 he worked as a broker with high net worth clients and with a global insurer. Returning to Australia, he commenced with a specialist transport and logistics broker and later transitioned to corporate broking in 2005 with an international broker. Recruited by a specialist mining broker in 2015 prior to its acquisition by an international broker, Simon worked with mineral exploration and operational mining clients and remained in this role until joining Adcor in April 2024.
Simon prides himself on relationship building within the teams he works in, the insurance market and with the client’s he works for believing, together with the application of traditional broking values, this goes a long way to achieving successful outcomes for every client

In 2020, Ben transitioned into broking, initially specialising in SME and medium-sized client servicing, before a move into the large natural resources and corporate client space. Ben assists in broking and supporting various placements for a diverse range of industries including transportation and logistics, mineral exploration, mining services and contractors, financial services and construction. In these roles, Ben has proven his dedication to timely and quality client service.

After pursuing a higher education with a Bachelor of Science, Daniel’s insurance career began in 2011 as part of a sales and service team. He gained experience across various roles as a Team Leader, Business Change Consultant, Operation Risk Consultant, Case Manager, Assistant Account Executive and Account Executive in the SME and Commercial sectors across various Insurance classes.
As a participant in the NIBA’s Mentoring Program, Daniel found a particular interest in the technical skills needed to service the Mining sector and took the initiative to approach Adcor to further enhance his education and skillset. Joining Adcor in 2024, Daniel provides support to the senior brokers ensuring our clients receive a timely and quality service.

Commencing her insurance career with one of Australia’s leading insurers, Kylie worked in various divisions before discovering her niche when she moved into the Workers Compensation field. As a Case Manager, Kylie worked closely with employers to manage their claims from the beginning, helping their injured employees return to work and finalise their claims. Eventually Kylie transitioned into the Training and Development department where she trained newly appointed Case Managers as well as provide ongoing training and assessments for various staff within the Workers Compensation department.
Since joining the Adcor team in 2020, Kylie has expanded her knowledge to include Salary Continuance insurance. Kylie works closely with Adcor’s brokers, our clients and insurers to ensure that accepted claims are progressing towards finalisation as quickly and low cost as possible, and that disputed claims are being thoroughly investigated.

Opportunities arose for similar roles, with national insurers in their Workers Compensation team and later with a number of international insurance brokers. After a hiatus to raise a family, Nazli recommenced her career in a broking support role with specialist agricultural broker in 2010. An opportunity arose to join a National broker in the marine services team prior to it being acquired by an international broker. Nazli joined the Adcor team in 2022 supporting the transport, logistics and mining services team in delivering the day to day needs of our clients.
